Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 15, as supplemented with the attached solicitation number N66604-26-R-0186. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT), Code 85 Undersea Weapons and Defensive Systems Department requires the procurement of four (4) MK66 Heavyweight Undersea Training Target (HUTT) units from Saab, Inc. on a sole source basis, as concurred with by the Small Business Administration. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 3402(a)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies (or services) will satisfy the needs of the agency.
